The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors held their regular board meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 16 where only three items on the agenda made for a short meeting. The board approved Resolution 26-25, applying for grant funds from County Conservation Aids program. This resolution allows the Land and Conservation Department to apply for grants. The board approved Resolution 27-25, establishing an updated compensation for the Environmental Services Supervisor position at Lafayette Manor. This was not included on the 2025 and the fiscal impact will be around $2,000 in wages and fringes. It will be in the 2026 budget . . .
